I wish there were more very basic stuff

Dont know why people still dont understand what early access means after this long line of early access games.....but sure its been confusing to when the line has been drawn in so many different directions and excuses to safeproduce something.

However the game is still in production and not finished yet which they have stated

Um..its been early access for 7 months now, and still nothing new to do in the game. What you do now, is exactly the same as what you did at release.

Yeah and it seems you havent played it either ^^ Nothing happened! get out of here xD lol

So what do you do differently exactly? What new mechanics have been implemented? What new immersive events have been added?
Well if you actually played the game you should know....shouldn't you ? Then you didnt had to ask me. I have almost 1300 hours and ive seen things from the start. And still trying to dissect its mechanic from Cav to Inf...Now im trying out the one handed fencer build

Here have some candy and smile for a change lad...at least you can smile while im getting massacred or the amazing comeback they pulled off :grin:These are the times i love BL

he wasn't talking about that

As i said if you actually played the game since then you should have known but youre just sitting there *****ing not knowing whats really in it ^^ These guys xD

I have played the game. I have played each beta version. The game is still the same as it was at launch, with a few balance changes, fluff quest, and a lame main quest. Its fundamentally the same.

Well then i guess you only tried one hour not really looking at it then...fair enough and i forgive your lack of knowledge since its obvious youre not interested in it either... Im still waiting for Skyblivion to so i understand you

I mean if you've played you know that its in a much better spot than release, one of the most obvious changes is the fact that you can actually exist as a player kingdom and even be elected as king of one of the existing factions now. At release you literally had no control over who you could go to war or make peace with and the main quest line was required in order to start your own kingdom whereas now you just have to be clan tier 4, people glaze over this part because they never played long enough to even try to start their own kingdom.

I understand this isn't really your point, but they seem to be working on the bigger ticket items like more interaction between kingdoms (alliances, rebellions, etc) and inter-faction politics. We also know they are revamping how the pre-battle set up works, blacksmith revamp, economic pricing rebalances, etc.

So yes we don't have the big ticket items yet, but there is no doubt the game is in a much more playable state than release.

Okay explain what's fundamentally different then?

How is what you do in the game currently fundamentally different from the initial beta release? There are no new mechanics, no new major content additions (a few new quest are not major content), and nothing that makes the game more immersive, just more gamey grinds for a very lackluster gameplay loop, with terrible AI.

Sure its in a more playable state with the balances changes, well maybe - Smithing and tournaments still broken mechanics that are too easy and too profitable. However, at the bare minimum , I would hope the game is more playable after 7 months of balance iteration. But in 7 months, like you've said, we haven't rcvd any major content additions, which makes me doubt we'll get anything substantial.

Oh yes it does because it takes me days at times to see some differences and how it affect things i havent seen before in combat an other places, not even then since im not playing ex as an trader atm. You can read and speculate all you want but its actually in the real world testing things you will see how it works

All we can do is hope they prove your doubts wrong

Arguably, if they still plan to release the game in 4/5 months, I don't see how any new major content can be added and balanced, based off the last 7 months of development activity.

I hope i'm wrong, I just don't see it based off the available information.

At the rate of two weeks per patch, it doesn't feasible that they'll be able to bring it out of early access, or a complete game at that within the next 4/5 months.

it's off to a bad start
Not at all.

We have no idea where there are at with any of those things so any guess on timing is misinformed, trying to correlate the timing of previous work with future work that differs completely (fixing bugs/balancing/optimizing vs implementing new features) isn't realistic. I have no idea if they will hit their 1 year assumption and honestly I could care less when they "release" because I'm already playing it, that's the beauty of EA.

Agree to disagree.
