I want my money back!

Just do more work and get new money. It's better because you also did something. Unless you're a criminal, then I guess it's worse for you.

If you played for less then 2 hours explore the "support" section for the game on steam. I forget exactly but if you can post on forum you can figure it out.
I'f you're like 5 and your baby sitter helps you post, then her boyfriend will have to come over and help figure it out. You might see things that confuses your undeveloped mind.

The guys from Valve said I only had two hours to get my money back. LOL. Two ****ing hours! It takes a few months to understand what they are actually selling. They're the ones who have to pay me for spending part of my life.. for this. Damn scammers -_-

It states what they are selling when you buy it. Now you have lernt something important in life and the next time you buy something in steam you won't forget about the 2 hour refund policy.

a few months? LOL! Yeah bro, 1 year refund time & 80 hours play time

if you think they are scammers, why not like "sue" them! You will get your money back dude. I'm sure you will get it if you sue them.

Come on guys, please don't troll threads for no reason; trolling threads is not only against the rules, it causes more issues such as thread derailment. Obviously having some fun isn't bad and I wont give out point warnings for what has already happened, but don't do it again.

I don't even understand what's happening but to OP if you have 2 hours or less in a game you can contact steam support (if bought on steam don't know how it is for other platforms) and refund it

You can also bug steam support and they might refund you

The level of entitlement the OP has if he's serious is ridiculous. Some people have it too easy in life

What in the world happened to the Warband community???
Ah right, this is Bannerlord's community, sorry, wrong forum...

It's still the same, nothing change, but TW made a gamble with their new game, that's all.. They tried something new, and there are things that improved others downgrade, or yet had not been working... All you see on forum is lack of patience

And some trying helping Devs with tests for them on Beta

If you have played less than 2 hours you can go to steam -> help -> click on the game and select that you want a refund. You don't need a reason.

Let's not forget that guy (Not OP) who played 500 hours and still wanted his money back

The disappointment has reached a fever pitch indeed.

I don't think that's quite it.
Reading statements made by disgruntled fans and looking at old devblogs and things that higher-ups at TaleWorlds had said during development...
I would say a lot of people feel misled.

There seems to be a complete disconnect between what many old M&B fans thought the game was going to be and what it currently is and what it looks like it's going to be.

Personally, one thing that sticks in my craw is the fact that Armagan himself said (right before EA release) that the game was essentially finished and feature complete, only that there were some obscure bugs that only a large amount of players can find... This was said in response to a question about the EA price...

This statement was fundamentally false. I bought the game on day one and ran into multiple bugs (some game breaking) within few hours of play... Bugs that would have been noticed by a single tester in an afternoon.

I like the game... I'm just saying.

I too bought the game since release, and in few hours too had problems, game crashing a lot, etc..

Yes, some of the blog I followed too, what I understood from everything that the game was in raw mode but eerything ready to be implemented.

And they started making changes with notifications to the community, that was the problem, after refaactor they made some progress.. slow i admit, but at least was something.

Now, have to wait and see what the game will be.

I also love this franchise, but... right now, probably their next game will only see my money after being done and not an EA anymre, this was a traumatizing experience

when I first bought the game my PC spec was better than the minimum , almost at the recommended & my PC coped well ; I subscribed to beta 1.5.6 & set nearly all graphics to low settings but last night after freeing family & getting to an army size of 51 the frame rate dropped lower & lower & loading screens after doing things was taking forever so I exited the game (Ctr Alt Delete) then this morning reloaded & continued my first combat , rescuing a caravan, crashed to desktop with no subsequent asking about what happened ; I feel cheated as I bought the game based on system requirements which I easily met & there's no way I paying even more cash to upgrade my PC : I'm going to start a M&B Floris campaign ; good luck with this evolving shambles!

It's called beta.

This is a fair answer - the game (in my eyes) is the sequel to warband I always wanted. However it has taken a year to get the point it probably should have been when first 'released'.

Yes it is EA; I think this is fair to mention but overall there was definitely a disconnect between how finished the community believed it would be and how finished it actually was - and the blame for this can be shared out.

If TW had said straight up at EA - this is only bare bones right now; I think maybe the conversation would be in a different direction.

Regardless it has taken a decade but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel; honestly 1.5.6 is in a good place. It's an enjoyable game and even with the mods I couldn't go back to Warband now (which must be considered a success). Give us custom severs, give us the full joys of the new modding community, give us a full release out of EA and I think people will forget these days in the middle.
