I want an autonomous anarcho syndicate commune faction.

Who ever makes it for me will have my respect and gratitude.

For weird women in lakes is no legitimate reason for supreme executive power.

Really though, maybe this could be a serious topic?
My idea is to simply form a faction that would have a king changed every 1 month depending on the highest approval rating of each lord.
Do you guys who have modded this game think that this is possible?

Imagine.
Let's say 10 "lords" or "elected local chiefs" have 1 or even two or three villages each.
Who ever has the highest average approving among his villages will thus be "king" every month.

Since kings can change through rebellion (right?) this shouldn't be a problem. I'm just wondering if one could script some sort of automatic rebellion every month and connect it to the approval ratings?

Any other ideas are welcome to btw. Anything that could be worked into Mount and Blade.
And ofcourse I'll do the mod if nobody is up for it. I just don't want to start something that can't be done.

Interesting, but no one will make it for your 'respect' and 'gratitude'  .

I would say it is definitely possible but it is a daunting task and would require a lot of coding.

Not a beginner project!

I fully agree wtih you. This thread DOES need more wookies. But I digress, my biggest fear with the anarcho syndicate commune mod would be AI going bat**** insane and not knowing how to react and how you would code the scripts when someone has more than 1 village.

Maybe one could limit each of these lords to only one village instead? That would be easier to code for the AI, but then what would happen in time of war?

Well, Faction Leaders are just slot variables, rest of their personality and ai is defined identically as Lords. So coding wise it is pretty easy. The only problem is coming with a way that Kings elections/replacements make any sense. Rhodoks are pretty much the only faction such elections would make sense. Even then changing a King is no simple task, there are Marshalls for that. In time of war faction leaders can still be Marshalls and AI kings already follow Marshall on the field. Even then you can force factions into peace for a couple of days, re-select marshall and then replace ruler and start war again.

And then there are claimant quests, mentions of faction leaders in dialouges... etc.

It's not a coding challenge, it is a design challenge.

I mean how various lords within the Anarcho Syndicate faction and factions outside would react to the constant changing of "king".
Some might have bad relations with one king, on the verge to rebelling and forming their own faction and then BAM there's a guy they love.

Im not sure how the AI creates relations between leaders and kings of different factions though. I'd imagine that someone who has been in previous wars with someone else dislikes that person and a new war has a greater chance. But with the very lack of depth in this game I sorta doubt this is the case.

Ask Rubik. He is the king of scripting. And also his mod Custom Commander does what you are describing, it's just not for warband but mount and blade.
