I want a bard

Can I have a bard that travels with me and creates songs of my character's achievements (provided the bard survives) and then spreads those songs around Calradia over time, possibly making a lasting memory of my character who'll eventually die of old age or whatever, but then the child can still hear bards sing the tales of his father/mother!

Sometimes one just needs an annoyingly friendly bard telling people to toss coins.
