apparently there are still people worshipping the old gods. and now they wish recognition and the abillity to express their religion!

I for one think this is a good thing as Cultural herritage and influence alone should give them this right.

let's not forget that the only reason why that religion dissapeared in the first place was state persecution!

The whole give money to the church thing is a Catholic belief for the umpteenth time.

The other churches (like the one I'm in, Protestant Reformed) are actually quite poor

People like religions because is about what you can do to reach a god.

But, perhaps alot of the religions have good intentions, but all are wrong.

The real Christianity, in contrast, is about what God did to reach the human kind.

There are two ways, Jesus was the worst liar, and was crazy, or, he was the One He told, God.


If He was a liar, their apostles should knew it, after His death. But almost all of the twelve were murdered for preach His resurrection. Now, find ten people that died for a lie, knowing that it was a lie.

Edit: Then you have two ways, belive He was a crazy liar, or believe on Him, and recieve Him... And about the "third way", look at this.

I think people should be free to believe in the god or gods they want to believe in. It's sad to me that people wouldn't be allowed to express that part of themselves.

That gos for all countries, not just Greece. I may argue for evolution and all that but that does not mean I've discounted the chance that there is a higher power. In fact, I kind of hope there is.

Without God, there are no good or evil, because: If for me is good to steal, I am not wrong. If for me is good to cheat to my wife, I am not wrong. If for me is good to date with the wife of my neighbor, I am not wrong. All can be "relative".

But no. God exists, and His Word is eternal, so good is to make His will, and bad is not to make it. Take a look at this.

I do not feel that a religion is nessecary for you to be a good person. It's not fear of or belief in god that keeps me from killing my neighbor. Common sense and logic tell me not to do that.
