I jumped off a cliff just for the hell of it and only recived 4 damage, i was in the air for at least 2 seconds

that some serious air time, and ony 4 damage!? It was 5 stories up! jeez, and yet when i jump off a 2 foot drop with my horse he gets 60 damage, damage needs some serious tweaking

I have jumped off some pretty high cliffs and have always received NO damage, yet when one of my knights rides down the side of mountain and hit the ground, their horse dies. What gives?

;(

Yeah.. I oftern kill my horse by jumping... it really needs to be tonned down.. I've played too much WoW and when on your mount you just feel like jumping alot of the time... that doesnt work well here

and MMORPG stands for Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (or such), in case someone didn't know it.

Never tried World of Warcraft, but from what I've seen it looks like a run-of-the-mill MMORPG with nothign really distinguishing about it. I've just judged it as an attempt to milk an overburdened franchise some more. Warcraft games are starting to suck, I haven't played anythign decent by Blizzard since StarCraft, and that wan't taht great really.

I once jumped off what must have been a 100ft tall cliff with my great axe raised above my head, and I totally obliterated a soldier at the bottom with a downward chop in a perfect action movie moment. Unrealistic, but also pretty damn cool

Horse damage really does need to be reduced. I've almost never taken damage to my horse and had him not die. The least i've ever seen was like 40. Yet my guy can jump 20 feet and take no damage. Oh, and starcraft was the best damn RTS of all time, period.

Dude, it's obvious that none of you ever actually tried jumping off a cliff with a horse, I mean, those things die QUICKLY--it totally happened to me once, I was riding this horse this one time and he died outta nowhere because he stepped on a bottlecap--it was pretty intense, so maybe the horse damage system isn't so bad afterall.

By that, I mean that it obviously needs tweaking.

I think it has to do wit hriding skill. I have ridden a horse down a mountain before and notihng happened. Did it another time and the horse fell over and a message came up saying it was crippled. After that my horse was called a "Lame saddle horse" so there ya go.
