I need help with modding something

I read on a mod topic about someone modifying thier arrows to a greater number

How do i do that with crossbow bolts?im sick of having to have 3 slots for the cross bow and bolts so i can last the battle, i want to modify the bolts so i can have just 2 slots and also have a sword and shield

Check the attackable peasants thread, there's a good step by step guide a few pages in.

In addition, it appears that editing the files in the data folder no longer works-instead, edit the files in the mods folder.
