Hi there!
Just need some help adding an item into the game.
I created a new item (in blender (a free 3d modeling software)), imported it into openBRF, and added the textures and stuff. But what I don't know how to do is how to get the game to load my item. My item is a modified Great Helmet.
First, I don't know how/where/what to put into the game files (would it be in *items_kinds1*?) to get it to load.
Second, would it be better to do it with the module system?
Third, how to get it to show up in the cheat menu?
And fourth, my textures didn't show when I preview the item in openBRF, is that okay?
One thing that might be important: the item is in three parts, one stacked on top another, seen in openBRF as ___ , ___.1 , and ___.2 (adding the textures seemed simplier that way).
