Why exactly do i move so slow? It take's you like 5 minute's to get to the enemy when ur in the arena , and the horse's move realistically (infact i think they are very very well done) but the people just move....to slow , I realise of course that armor weighs you down. But...even if you are wearing cloth and holding a dagger you move like your dragging a bluddy caravan.

Hehe, I'll mention that in heavy armour, even if you do have decent athletics, you will still move like a cripple, one-legged, snail. Erm... One footed snail? Oh dammit, I'm not going to win this one.

Well, I don't expect a fully armed walking man to be able to run well, even with a very good athletics skill. I mean, that IS what horses are for.

I would rather implement a skill which decreases penalties on movement while wearing armour. You can be trained to move easier/faster in heavy armour, just like real soldiers in the army. It would be of course somehow related to STR.

Even more, it could be ruled that in heavy armour you use your STR to move, not your AGI attribute.

I´m pretty sure that strength removes the penalty from armor on your moving spead, at least to a certain degree it does.

You may be right. Now that I have STR 15 I seem to move faster (tho only a bit) in heavy armour.
