I messed up something.

I believe something went wrong but I have no idea what is the cause to this, as far as I know I didn't change anything and I am playing Diplomacy mod.
Another question, under what circustances does this conversation occur?

Wow, this classic bug.  The message should only display when you marry Asugan Noyan's father as a female character, and instead of saying Regular Fighter it should say the proper name.  Normally when this bug gets reported lords are discontent over who got the fief of Sword Sister, or something like that.

But the problem is you see, I'm a male character and I was with the Nords the whole time and this was the first time I met him, I believe Asugan has no father in the game as he is counted towards one of the Khergits 'senior'.

I'd just keep moving, if something happens outside of this it may just be a corrupted save... Otherwise take no heed and carry on.

Diplomacy has a lot of nice features but it's quite buggy. I went to the aid of a bunch of troops I was sending from one fief to another, captured the lord attacking them and he asked me if I wanted him to carry on going to the destination or go back (he thought he was my troop convoy). It didn't appear to actually break anything though, just the dialogue (and obviously I couldn't capture him).

Sometimes names get mixed up. Ususally in my savegames I can go to a Lord and ask him how he feels about his King/Sultan/Khan. They usually say something like "Oh I shouldve gotten the fief of X" X means some name. Ive seen Champion Fighter, Khergit Skirmisher, even TOWNSWOMAN.

It's a harmless game bug in dialogs. It's fixable, but don't worry about it, it only affects dialog lines, not underlying data.

Jarl Knudarr was very upset when he didnt get the fief of camp follower.... (For those of you who dont know, camp followers were a form of medieval prostitute.)

I believe fiefs were programmed to be named after unit names, so you would often hear people want the fief of Swadian footman, khergit horse archer, Nord footman etc..  my problem is not only he mentioned about his father- 'regular fighter' but I'm a GUY in that save file (also the fact Asugan Noyan having no father in the game) making me confused.

And no, I'm not Harlaus's long lost brother.
