Mosin Nagant 说:
Messerschmit, beatings of the drum sounds nice afar. (Turkish proverb, don't know if there is any equivalent one in English.)
It's "the grass is greener on the other side".

This series made me give anime an honest shot.  I still look for series just like this one, but I fail to find them.

I like gunpowder weaponary myself; much more aesthetic and graceful than modern weapons. But when you think about it, almost everything was more aesthetic in old times, even first cars or telephones. You might be nostalgic like me, but there's really nothing about war that's desirable or "cool" other than the satisfaction of protecting your land or interfering with other people's evil doings; so you might want to re-phrase your thread and OP to avoid misunderstanding.

Mlaar! Brainnns!

I love war too! The dying moaning, ****eing their pants as their abdominal muscles contract and relax during that time.
The bits of people lying around mixed with all the dirt and dust and ash.
The rasping pain of running, the stinging and burning of the liver and the ripping aching of the heart. The sickening fear that threatens to burst the bloodvessels.
The smell of burning corpses, smells like pork.

Ah, war! The most beautiful things in the world. Can be shown on television and talked about publicly. The honour of pissing oneself from fright and excitement!

Just Kidding.

Ah, an excellent opportunity for ppl over the age of 15 picking on somebody as if their lazy ass ever went anywhere else than to the nearest cheap beer country.

Gotta love dem big, grown-up boys!

You like the gunpowder era? I mostly prefer 961-1485.

I can bang my head on the keyboard too:

Such an awful oversight by the creators! Joe, you should start an change.org petition!  :iamamoron:

I was thinking about a grey-green and black camo myself though, but it doesn't really matter because it's black-and-white anyway.

Gunpowder era, eh? If I'm not mistaken, we still use that stuff.
