I had some serious crashing problems before. this vertex agent thingie...

my old pc is a pentium 1800 with 512 megs of ram and a nvidia ti200 graphics card (128mb)!

three days ago i got a new pc...
its a 64bit, dual proccessor, 3.2
with 2 gigs of ram and a gainward ultra GOLDEN SAMPLE something something, graphics card (256mb)

YOU CANNOT IMAGINE HOW MUCH THIS GAME RULES RIGHT NOW!!!!!
NO CRASHING! NO NOTHING! JUST PURE, MAGICAL, FULL FRAME RATE SLAUGHTER OF DEATH AND KILL AND STUFF!

i am a happy chicken!
thank you armagan!
thank you mount and blade!
thank you microsoft!
thank you universe...

and you dear scarecrow!

There appears to be a mad person here - he's thanking microsoft for some reason...why may I ask Mr Virgo are you thanking microsoft...who are you? Bill G in disguise?

Anyway, my home PC is an XP1700+ (Clock 1476), 512 (SD PC133), 128 FX5700 (now with XP, rather than that shagpile Me) and has run fine (full on detail, max battle size etc)...tho my motherboard needs replacing (its going a bit dickie) and with that the chip n mem. It is also now 3 1/2 years old, but has had some components added/replaced recently by me.

But these were all added AFTER I got M&B.

PS: Battlefield 2 works fine and dandy on this spec...despite the min specs saying they're not...well on CPU anyway.

I don't believe M&B can benefit from having dual processors though. The program you're running has to be built to accommodate that feature...and very few games are as far as i know. Still a nice system.

If you want to challenge your pc's get the Battle Size Patch!
That patch should be part of benchmark tests. I've noticed that even if the enemies are hiding behind a hill, they still cause strain of the pc's performance. If this could be fixed or something it would be great!

I have a 2.6 Ghz AMD Athlon, 1 gig Ram, Geforce 4 MX 128 Meg.

BTW: MR. VIRGO, I wouldn't trust that videocard it looks like it could blow up any minute... I dunno about this one, but don't videocard like these experience weird compatibility errors? Since Nvidia , and ATI are the main videocard companies, aren't games made for them?

Anyways, does it like make a jet sound when you turn on your pc? lol

I believe it is an nvidia card.
with 2 gigs of ram and a gainward ultra GOLDEN SAMPLE something something, graphics card (256mb)
That "something something" is the most useful information  Just did a little search and found this.
Doesn't look that great, but it depends on what he paid for it. I used to be an nvidia fan, but over the past couple years ATI has just surpassed them.
