in ROY i was sailing my ship and approached another ship then i expected for a sea battle to take place but no both mine and the enemy troops battled on a land map

Yeah, the naval battles didn't work, for some reason... I'm working on fixing that, and also finding a way for ships to get past land barriers.

If it didnt have them it would've crashed the game, so the script in the ship battle should've loaded the ship battle scene.

No, it wouldn't have crashed the game, it would go to a default screen, if I'm not mistaken.

From the looks of the game it would crash even if a single minor file is missing, so I would assume that if an scene file is missing it would also crash.

Anyways, I'm working on ships and such right now. Any party can go on water, and they will automatically turn into a ship. Then I'll look into sea battles a little more and see if I can't get them working.
