I just don't get TW priorities.

Ok show me a full game on highest difficulty setting when youre being an infantry man so you can sell me this things because all i see is talk nothing else in these conversations...If i saw something solid i would have agreed and worked for that. But since last armor buffs that was so requested it has become worse in my opinion
You want proof of every single statement, but when asked for proof itself you don't want to show it.
Take a side and stop living out your double standards and thinking you are morally above anyone else.

I hardly doubt anyone plays this game on less than "realistic" settings. Imagine taking the tiny bit of fun the game offers out by yourself

You are the definition of the funboy....jesus hahahahaha
exactly what i expected ^^ no solid arguments from both of you which is a shame
But this is a clear argument wanting to buff armor even more xD

Have not yet seen a single valid argument of you whatsoever.
All you do is insult everyone who does not agree with you, opening threads just to poke OP's

Who you think you are that i have to prove anything to you?Go watch videos on yt where ppl use drastic/realistic battle and if you dont like it its ok,but stop popping in every thread that says otherwise than praising how TW are great...

When did i insult the OP ? tell me pls. I was saying that 30th time pushing for armor buff thread is counter productive which makes me wonder why the mods dont merge the threads ^^ But i can clearly see cyresdog sniffing blood here for a warning on me xD Get me some solid arguments instead of trying to stir things

That argument for "useless threads" while being the OP of one of the biggest spam threads on this forum is absolutely beyond me

Ok show me the spamthreads  link them all pls...Then link your threads that are constructive to so we can read what you have done to this community and game production

Editing up armor values for every unit does not make the player a "super tank". That argument is sheer nonsense.

lol one xD and that was an joke from many in this community put together so i made it for us since there was to many ****posts at the time xD ok now where yours ? I want to see what you have contribute
So the very defintion of a spam thread.
3 posts before you ask someone else to show proof to you, and now you want me to look for proof for your point?
No wonder you can play Bannerlord 8 hours a day. Someone like you just can't get hired by anyone.

Strange because i can clearly now take a lot of damage then i could before and so can all my t5 troops to. So what will blocking rocks, blades and bouncing arrows with your hvy armor bring better to this game ?

So the very defintion of a spam thread

Its calling to have an discussion and you have clearly not even contributed with one solid yet xD

I am getting low damage from low tier units with medium armor, so not really get the complains.

How many hits would you like to receive before dying from low tier units/looters? Infinite like in Warband? If it is the case, then I disagree.

But there definitely is one point at least where I really don't even understand TW's rhyme or reason, and it's armours.
Armours being far too inefficient and blunt tearing through anything in a weird fashion are two of the most ancient and recurring complaints. They are absolutely central to the core and gameplay loop of the game (as they affect fighting and gearing), so it's not like if they were of secondary importance or rarely used. And yet, it's been months without any significant change, despite both being completely broken.

More puzzling, though, is that TW did a big pass over most units armour rating lately. Seemingly trying to balance units between factions on this point. And this is really something I can't get : how can you balance armour on units when the armour mechanics themselves aren't working ? The whole balance pass has no meaning if the working of armour change later.
So logic would dictate that you FIRST makes armour formula work, and THEN you balance armour ratings.

In TW's defense, they have made efforts to address the snowballing and the Khuzaits expanding rapidly. This was heavily based on player feedback.

That being said, I'm in agreement - making armor stronger should be one of the highest priorities in the game right now and it does not feel like it is right now. As it stands, armor doesn't really do all that much right now. A couple of hits and that is about it.

The plan is eventually to re-balance all armor and damage, but as you've noted, it makes sense to do this first rather than balance equipment than change the armor and damage.

Generally the most popular mods all buff armor:

This is an older mod that needs an update (and a few other changes, most notably to throwing weapons)0, but again, as the name hints:

I would like the developers to make this a high priority the way the efforts to rebalance the Khuzaits appears to have been.

This is currently one of the most in demand changes right now in the game.

The difference between elite armor and a tunic is really about 3 hits. You can take 12 damage from a looters rock with the best armor in the game while not speeding on a horse; I have seen this many times. It's 14 or 16 damage naked from looter's rocks. This is not balanced at all, it's a mosh pit of one to three hit kills made for people who enjoy COD tactics with fruit fly attention spans.

A case could be made for scaling looters that scale as the player and kingdoms nearby level up (or perhaps deserters with more powerful equipment), but armor itself needs a big buff.

It is basically just looter rocks that are outliers. Low-tier swords and axes don't do much.

I mean looters rocks are also quite laughable to say the least but idk i guess some want to farm them all day without any risks. However i can understand the arrow and javeline speed and direction impact bonus even if you can tank an javeline or two at times with heavy armor depending on the hit. My horse got hit to the head and took only like 8% damage which made me laugh at these armor buffs

Basically this. Armor isn't that bad at all, some weapons just deal way too much damage. Like rocks
is 6 in damage much ? which they usually do if they now hit that is. Then do you think its fair that an cav man or infantry man like the gif i provided should take a lot more damage then that ? Imagine the pinjata field it would be ^^

The only low-mid tier units which are able do perform a high damage, are these ones with two handed weapons or a lucky headshot from an archer.

High tier units are different beasts though but this is also the case in Warband. Do not make me wrong, giving extra buffs for armors would be ok (I say “extra buffs” because most of high tier armors have already got some buffs in 1.5.4) but I do not find armors totally useless as people say. I notice a lot when I wear +40 armor in every slot or so.

With those types of armor, yes. Or every looter in the existence is Hulk and can throw rocks fast enough to hurt you even though you wear a really decent armor. I don't have a problem with getting rocked in the head and dying or running towards the looters and eating a rock in the torso and dying.
