I just built a new kingdom: Unholy Swadian Empire

Sorry Queen Katilus, I am your worst nightmare.

Well, this is just to be fun...

I started out with 16 companions, joined Swadia as mercenary for no reason, got bored, and plead my homage to the Queen.

She awarded me a castle near Sargoth, so I started my intrigue there - hired over 100 Rhodok Conscripts and trained them into Arbalestiers, took Sargoth easily. I thought, well, when the Queen refuse to award Sargoth to me (I thought she must refuse since she just gave me a castle), it'll be my time to rebel and start my own faction, with Sargoth as capital - although I don't like that spot very much.

However, she was so naive (can't find a better word) and awarded Sargoth to me unexpectedly. LMAO... What should I do next?

I took all my elite troops out of Sargoth, travelled to Praven, said goodbye to the Queen, and immediately attacked Sargoth again. Then, I bought peace from the Nords, gathered all my force and marched towards my desired capital - Suno.

Suno, surrounded by 3 castles, all in capital's influence sphere, added up to 6 villages under my control. Also, it is close to Rhodok and Nord, where my favorite Arbalestiers and Huscarls were born...

I named my faction Unholy Swadian Empire, with Achilles, Alyssa, Kelemvor, Jinni and Xerina as my battlefield companions, others as my NPC lords (all maxed with Pathfinding, Spotting, Tracking, Wound Treatment and Surgery). All my battlefield companions are equiped with Lordly Plate Armour and Rounded Helms (for the look), Masterwork Morningstar and Reinforced Knight Shield, slaughter around with Lady Knights and Cavaliers like meat grinders. (Cathedral is still under construction)

The name Unholy Swadian Empire matches so well with my kingdom color - black. And because of that, I don't even want the Dark Knights to invade. Black is mine.

P.S. 2 questions:

1. What is the best cavalry from peasant line? Lady Knights or...? (Seems that Lady Knights are really easy to get, you can get over 100 rescues of peasant women in no time)

2. Does Queen Katilus have anything special to loot? How about a Masterwork Knight Lance, does that item ever exist?

Thanks.

I don't know about Queen Katilus's special loot, but I'm almost completely sure that Lady Knights are the best cavalry in that line.

Lordless are tougher, shield skill and better shields iirc. That said, Lady Knights every time.

really from what i recall (and i could be wrong) lady knights have superior or equal stats than the lordless knights in every category

i had a similar experience, i help princess of suno reclaim her throne, fought for her and requested 3 towns of holy swedian to be mine. she didn't reject me.
after i finished the quest, i created my own kingdom " the republic of caladia", with only one town on swedian's side, she declared war on me lol

but you use the default (swadians, vaegirs, rhodoks, nords, khergits) troops or have your own troop tree?

I use a mix of Vaegir and Swadian Infantry only, with khergit for ranged support

I use swadian cav with khergits for fire support that won't slow my army down.

for sieges I use primarily rangers to pepper the walls and swadian infantry to assault once the enemy numbers (or or my supply of arrows) are depleted.
