I bought this game for $5 when it was on sale , and I extremely regret it.

I went into the game blind, only watched a few videos like a year ago. Ever since I've started I've been ****ed over time and time again by numerous glitches and bugs that make the game more like a clunky early access indie game than a game developed by an actual dev team.

Such as enemies walking through each other to make it impossible to block, enemies swinging through each other, input not even ****ing working during battle, the game deciding to make me not block even though I'm holding the button, cattle permanently disappearing as soon as they leave your view, game freezing, idiotic and basic at best AI, and lots more. I've experienced all of that in just two ****ing days of playing!

So after I repeatedly get screwed over during wartime campaigns I decided to play it safe for a bit and just do little missions, mostly for clearing bandits that would run off so I could never actually complete the mission so I'd get a penalty. I got a caravan mission that required me to take it allll the way across the map, it was annoying but the dude said I needed like 6 people and I had 30 so no big deal, right?

I spent half an hour babysitting those morons that would decide to wander off and I'd have to double back and chase off bandits. When I got to the destination it was surrounded by 80 sea assholes, which weren't really an issue since I just baited them to a castle and let a lord slaughter them. So I skirted around that and headed up to the town without opposition.

EXCEPT for when I spotted an army 120 assholes strong north of the town, and I and the caravan were south. All those ****ing idiots had to do was walk into the town and not ****ing die, BUT THEY COULDNT EVEN DO THAT! They ****ing walked straight through the damn town just to get slaughtered by an army 10x the size of the caravan as I watched from the safety of the town!

I've decided to just delete this worthless game since Sony are greedy ****s and won't allow any refunds if you downloaded said game. I'm actually embarrassed to have spent $5 on this **** when I could have bought a good game like Mirror's Edge: Catalyst for the same price! I'm not exaggerating, I'm actually embarrassed to have the achievements on my account.

Sorry you couldn't enjoy this game ;(
There are many mods that can improve the experience and remove many warband bugs. Additionally, if you change the "campaign ai" option to high, things such as your caravan being outnumbered will goodly be avoided as they become smart enough to run rather than walk. For the escort caravan quest, you need to speak with the master a final time when nearby in order for the quest to complete and then to enter the town itself. Also, if you are using the "Autoblock" blocking method in single player, you need to proactively click to switch block directions, or with manual blocking move your mouse every time a swing approaches in the direction of the blow and click/hold for the duration of the block. Your ability to block and fight will improve over time, Warband is a game that's relatively easy to learn but difficult to master. As to this game freezing, that shouldn't happen as usually this game is very stable on even old operating systems, so it might be an issue with installation if your crashing/freezing often. Hopefully this helps you if you chose to return to this title.

Ps. This game isn't by Sony or sold by Sony, so you mean steam? You can't get a refund if you have playes for more than 2 hours or have owned it for 14 days as with all other steam games per the refund policy.

The game is being sold on PSN and was recently on sale for $5 in a 'flash sale'. I appreciate your advice and trying to help, but it's just so frustrating.

As for autoblock and stuff, there is none on console. It's all manual but there are times where the game will decide for me to stop blocking when I'm still holding the button OR will not block at all because it seems if you press block while still in an animation it just won't register, kind of like when riding horses I'll get stuck because it won't read my input.

Looter, just forget it.  He seems to have little initiative or patience enough to learn the game.  Plus he posted in the wrong section of the forum.  One of the keys to this game is to start slow and build up your strength and your forces.  By the way it's whimsical.

Thanks for ignoring all of the glitches and bugs I literally spelled out for you. If it's normal gameplay for a caravan to go right through a town I entered so they can get slaughtered, then I have no ****ing clue what the devs were thinking.

As for the name: No ****. It's a username.

OK, first of all, the game, in its current state, is virtually bug-free.  There is a bug where you could rescue a prisoner and the rescued prisoner turns hostile, but that is easily remedied.  Second, sea raiders do not appear in groups of 80-120, even if they are assholes, so unless you've modified the game in some way, you're exaggerating.  You are somewhat right about caravans that you escort.  They simply will not enter a town if they are being chased by any kind of bandit.  You must eliminate the bandit threat first.  Also, caravans will almost always move more slowly than your group.  This is working as designed.
Fighting multiple enemies on the ground is also working as designed although I agree, the design could be better.  What you may be witnessing is the lack of melee friendly fire but it also benefits you since your swings will not harm your comrades.
Cattle can be annoying.  Just remember, they will always run from you. Even when you lose sight of them, they are still moving away from you.  If you want them to turn left, get behind them and to the right.  Best way is to zig-zag behind them, keeping them moving in a relatively straight line.  Actually best way is to ignore the "move cattle" quests altogether.
After only two days of play, 30 members in your group is too many.  Their skill level will be too low to manage all but the weakest bandits, the looters.  Fight as many groups of looters as you find, then move up to forest bandits and mountain bandits.

That's a ****ing joke, much like you apparently. Keep sucking that **** while ignoring all issues in the game 'virtually bug free' what a ****ing joke. What do I expect from someone that spends their entire time on here.

While I agree there are hella bugs that never get fixed no matter what, do remember, it's a 2008 game that is ported to console, it's not gonna be great and for some not very good.

Hi there! While the console port is pretty disappointing, that's no excuse to flame others. That'll be a warning, and anything further will result in a mute. Maybe think before you post with such toxicity.

I played it on PC for years and jumped in on Xbox when it came to that platform.  The game loosk and feels great on that Console, but I can't speak for how it works on PS4.  Bummer, as it is a great game...I'm SOOO wanting for Bannerlords.

Seriously dude? You come on here to ***** about issues you're having, and when you get some input, you call the poster a joke and tell him to suck a ****? Come on bud, grow up. I bought the ps4 version in the same sale as you, and it's run better than when I had it on my laptop. If you're having those issues, then there may be an issue with your download. Try downloading again if you really want to give the game a chance. However I'm guessing if you did get the game to work normally, we'd just see you back on here whining every time you lost a battle. Get your head out of your ass, or get your ass out of the forum.

I play this game on console and none of those problems have happened to me except cattle disappearing once but most of the time i find them in a random location and I have never experienced a single mesh problem or blocking problem except for sometimes when you block with a great sword it will go downwards if you are not selecting the right type of block so everything you have named off is your fault not knowing how to play the game and why even bother with a caravan mission which I have never done before and you can easily just speed up time and trail behind them and you'll scare off bandits if your army is large enough, and I had a army of 40 mamluks and took out a army of 310 vaegirs by myself without even ordering my mamluks to do anything at all and only 10 died or got wounded and it was king yaroglek army.

I was 2 days in the game and I already had a full army of 140 and 3 towns in my own kingdom with a few castles and 13 lords after playing for 8 hours on saturday and sunday.

This is the best game I've ever played.  After the second play through,  i just want more content.  I thought for sure your comment would be "i bought this game for 5$ and regret it,  because i should have payed more for such a masterpiece "

sounds like you just are bad at the game and havent bothered to learn how it works. So far ive not had any complaints, found couple minor bugs and detail screw ups that have made me giggle a little since ive been playing the game ever since it launched on PC and still discover randomest little stuff that i missed during these years.
Now what i would like to say on your refund is.. You will never get your money back, if i remember correct both Sony and Microsoft tell  you this before purchase in EVERY prouduct you decide to buy. I highly recomend you read the TOS on your marketplace.
I also recomend you do buy the game on PC where it has mods that do fix bugs and glitches and runs a bit better than on console (Got it on both and play on both depending where i am at) the game does work like a charm and the modding community has entertained me for years upon years and propably will continue to do so until something happens to TW or the modders just stop modding for one reason or another.

I've played more Warband than just about any other game, I think. Maybe not Skyrim. Anyways, the first two or three times I played, I only played for about 5 minutes before quitting, as I couldn't get into the game. I didn't know the mechanics, what to do, how to build an army or get a castle or anything. Eventually, however, I decided to commit to the game since I could tell there was a beauty of a game I was missing, and I learned how to play. Basically what I'm saying is give it another shot, maybe start another character, and use what you learned from the first character to get started.
