Need More Info Husband makes himself governor

Summary: My Husband, who is leading a party, occasionally also makes himself the governor of my city
How to Reproduce: I own 3 fiefs with my female character (2 castles and one city.) My husband (who is supposed to have his own party) keeps replacing my governor with himself, while also being displayed as having a party. This is bothersome, since he actually negatively impacts the city's development. It might be that it happens whenever his party is defeated in battle, I only noticed that my city runs out of food whenever this happens. In any case, he is displayed as both having a party (in the party tab) and being in field as well as being a governor (city management screen)

Though my partner is not in her own party she keeps placing herself as governor of my city.

There was also one moment she was governor of my castle. I removed her from there and she hopped back to my city. Seems to reset every 12-24 hours.

EDIT: The work around seems to be to physically pick her up and add her to your party.
