Humans vs Zombies

I saw one get hit with a sock, and then I shot her in the face at range about five minutes later.

Awesome.

So the zombies can run? That's bull****. I assumed they had to stagger around with their arms forward, possibly moaning.

Well, they also don't only get stunned by headshots.  It seems to work for me, though these massive fights clearly don't work when we try and use hardpoint defenses.

Also, game's completely off while we sort things out with the cops.  Also, a lot of zombies are saying that they really lost a lot of enthusiasm when they know they tagged humans and the humans refuse to admit it.

You can't refuse a bruise, just make sure the zombies "tag" people hard enough to leave a mark

I did sword fighting with padded weapons once, and when people wouldn't call their hits I would just wail on them until they didn't want to get hit anymore.

And whats the police main complaint about the game?

University of Pittsburgh.

Tarrant:  even if bruised, you can still claim that they got shot first.  I got touched during that mission, but I also know for a fact that I shot her.  There's a reason I plan on aiming for the face in missions.

The police had no problem with the game, per se, they just objected to 60 people broadsiding 30 on or very near concrete steps.  They did say they'd run up trespassing charges (riiiight, on our university library), civil disturbances, and a few more.  While it was basically an empty threat, the cops in question apparently didn't know about the game and were told a fight was in progress.  We've since spoken with the chief of police and received the go-ahead, though we plan to not do massive pile-ups (or at least not do it on anything but a park).

Today four almost grabbed me when I went up to fencing, thankfully my habit of sprinting off as soon as I clear the doors of the dorm saved my ass.  Tomorrow should be interesting, since there's no way any of the people in my hall can run together.  We're all on our own.

Have any zombies caught any survivors having sex/using drugs/really drunk, like they would in a movie?

Really drunk?  Absolutely.  Since the others tend to be done in the privacy of dorms, not so much.  Friday and saturday nights were slaughters, though.

Right.  Second mission completed and now I can use bayonets.  Thank ****ing god.

So, eleven of us went up against about 30 zombies.  They lined the top of a steep ridge that we had to assault.  At the top was an item that would cause an end to the mission if grabbed.  After some rather pointless maneuvering (one zombie got behind us and did **** all) I got a little irritated and so started shooting up the hill with my Nitefinder, hitting one, maybe two.  After more pointless maneuvering, I eventually just started walking up the hill with a friend, on their left side, forcing the rest of the humans to start stringing up the hill.  After seven of us got to the top, they charged, most angling down the hill.  I, again, simply rushed through them, killing two and not coming close to being tagged, though an ambush did cut me off from the others.  I also unknowingly ran right past the mission goal, which seems to have potentially got a lot of people killed.  From there, skirmishing ensued.  Apparently, the remaining humans split into two groups of five, one heading back down the hill.  All five that went down the hill died.  The other five at the top apparently survived.  While that was happening, I was basically loading my one-shot, running up right behind zombies and shooting them, then retreating to the relative safety of an open field.  After the third zombie dispatched in this manner, I saw the goal object and ran for it, grabbing it about a second before being tagged.  Since the mission ended when the object was retrieved and a 20 minute safe-zone was immediately in place, I was ruled safe, as were the last five humans.

End result:  Six humans may now use melee weapons, five of the more active humans were killed, and we could be in deep ****.  One of the humans killed was an integral part of our group.  He knows where we go, what classes we have, when we leave for clubs, how we enter and exit our dorm, etc.  He was also one of the people I'd counted on to survive to the end, and he will make a good zombie.  He also lives one door down from me.

The game got really interesting, in my opinion.

Heh.  I'm dead, mostly because I chose to chill out and fight instead of run.  Suicide by zombie?  Fine by me.

Fewer, actually.  Some of the people listed as human aren't playing anymore (they are now acting as referees for missions) but haven't yet been removed.  I'll update with tales of my demise later.

zombies, eh?

If a horde of zombies was to knock at my door i would be ready....
once I figure out how to wake up from noises.

But still, a zombie would be easy to kill.

"Just take a gun, and shoot them in the head"

Hehheeee

So, Mer, everyone's dead? Short-lived, wasn't it?

Do you think the missions caused people to die more?

You know, do you guys have shotgun-nerf guns?

I saw one at walmart it was ingeniious, it actually does turn into little things without destorying the projectile.
Trust me, you will like it against the undead.
