Hubby exiled outside of Calradia, what now?

Hello everyone.

It took me a while but I finally found someone who wanted to marry me -- w00t! Great, I thought, until he was thrown out of Khergit for treason. He then moved around several times -- ironically to places that I was at war with, low and behold, he followed me -- obviously with the intention of attacking me, as did his father, my father-in-law.

So after moving around roughly 5 times he was exiled by Sultan Hakim -- except this time it said my husband went into exile outside of Calradia.

I am, of course, frustrated but I'm wondering several things.

1. Can I divorce him in any way?
2. Can I marry someone else?
3. If I started my own faction, would he come back and join as King? He's still in the character pannel and listed as my husband.
4. Will he come back at all anyway?

If none of the above apply... well... I'm a bit buggered aren't I? I understand that marriage for women will be different than that of men in Mount&Blade Warband, however once the marriage has been finalised (vows said etc), there's not much above that. Of course, I suppose it didn't help that I married a man with no land (in the hope of starting my own faction and having us aquire land together -- ohh the romance!) but it's nice being married... it would be nicer to be married to someone I can actually talk to mind you.

Ohh the drama -- oh the pain -- oh the awesomeness of being female!

Sounds like you are SOL honestly, it seems that once a noble has been declared a traitor or renounces his oath, he will bounce around between all of the various kingdoms (the more he does this, the more likely he is to be exiled, its a vicious circle). Once there are no more factions, he is gone from the land.

Im sure its an unintended consequence, probably be patched soon.

Awww darn that sucks. Well, thanks for the quick response. I guess I'll keep playing and stab Sanjar for kicking him out in the first place.

Much appreciated! I hope it's patched soon.

Well I dont know 100%, but things are still a bit new and being tested, and it sounds like a possibility that was never discovered during beta. Fairly sure there is no way to divorce your wife / husband at the moment either...

Can you still profess your love to other nobles? I can in my game, I can still claim to admire other ladies. Ive never attempted to go any further than that though, maybe you can get a harem type thing going on.

Aye I understand it's all new. I'm excited to see what's coming up, too.

Heh. Unfortunately I can't profess love to other nobles -- I've tried it (loneliness during war *Dramatic pose*). It doesn't matter for now I suppose, I'll work my way up somehow.

Darn xD

i'm the biggest pimp in calradia, and i think i'm going to create a kingdom, where i will be the pimp (king), and my vassals will be hoes (lords)

Well, if the message says he got exiled out of calradia, It was probably something the devs implemented on purpose.

Aye, but he came back to help me break someone out of prison.. then ran away :'(

Edit: He spoke to me, but I couldn't choose to speak to him in private, naturally because someone else was there. Couldn't try to convince him to stay lol.

2nd Edit: When I defeated the garrison in the castle, he spoke to me, and an error blog came up at the bottom, couldn't quite catch what it said. Then once he'd done talking, the guy I broke out thanked me and everything went back to normal.

I understand it's a purposfully implimented event, however, if you're married to a lord and they get exiled out of Calradia, then it's pretty pointless getting married -- especially considering the fact that you can't re-marry.

Ahh!! xD
