Many people were asking me to post the full story behind my name so here you go <3

The Real Story Behind The Name Fidel Lagstro

Mount&Blade:Warband was the first PC game I ever played after moving to California where I finally had internet good enough to realistically play a game online, but not having any experience with PC games or English terminology for anything PC related, I didn’t know what “Ping” meant, and I just assumed that higher ping was better, so the first servers I ever joined were Chinese servers where I had 400+ ping, and obviously, playing M&B: Multiplayer was a ****ty experience for obvious reasons, so I ended up searching for reasons why warband multiplayer was so bad, and I found out that my problem was called “lag” and that I am actually supposed to look for the least amount of ping possible… so I went back in and found the most populated server with the least ping, and the server I found was POM, where I had ~78 ping at the time.

At the time, my name was still the default “New_Player” so I decided I needed to make a new name, so I thought about what it should be, and the first thing that came into my mind was that I was playing a medieval game, and I should give my name a medieval element , so I decided on “Sir” and then I needed the actual name, so the next thing that came to mind were the movies I watched of King Arthur and the Round Table, and the name that came to me was Sir Lancelot, but I didn’t want to just copy the name, so I combined the name with the first problem I experienced in Warband which was “Lag” so what I produced with that combination was “Sir Lagalot”. I got some praise for the name in-game for it being a somewhat funny name and how well it applied to me since my ping was generally higher than everyone else’s, but even more so because I also tended to have massive long lasting lag spikes as well, so it just added legitimacy to my name.

After about a year or so into the game, many things had happened, I was already in the competitive scene, I had joined wK and had passed my Squire stage, and became a full-fledged West Knight. Smurfing started becoming very popular and common, and some of us in wK started coming up with new names for the sake of it, but still keeping the wK tags on, for example the ever so famous “wK_Presence” (Calamity). I decided to make one myself for the sake of fun, and I had done it the same day some random on POM had called me a “tyrannical archer”, so I tried to come up with a name that made use of that, so I started looking up some lists of tyrannical dictators I could base my name off of, and taking into consideration my Hispanic heritage, I ended up deciding on making something out of Fidel Castro since I liked the name and it is something anyone in the US should have been able to recognize. I needed to link it in some way to my old name, and of course, it would be the reason I created my previous name, which was Lag, so I combined these in the best way I could, and came up with my current glorious name "Fidel Lagstro", which was praised the second I entered the server that same day, and is still praised by new people I meet every day, with the exception of Rake, because he is a jealous infidel, lacking in all forms of creativity and originality.

Since the name Fidel Lagstro was praised by many and I liked it a lot myself, I used it for more than just that one day, and after playing under it for a while, I kind of forgot that I had created it as a smurf and Achilles asked me why I hadn’t gone back to Sir Lagalot… and it made me think, should I keep on using Fidel Lagstro, or should I go back to Sir Lagalot? After thinking about it for a few minutes, I came up with a solution, I would keep whichever was the most unique, so I asked the ever so wise google if anyone else had ever used either of these names before… and alas… the results were... many people had started using the name Sir Lagalot around the same time I had, but as for Fidel Lagstro… it didn’t show up at all, it had never been used before… so the winner was clear, Fidel Lagstro was the most unique and it is the one I have decided to keep since then.

Letholdus was known as the first knight to make it over the walls of Jerusalem during the crusades. When the defenders saw him, they apparently retreated further into the city.

I felt it was my duty to carry on his legacy in GK_Siege.

*drop mic*

I`ve had quite a few names over the years, I`ve used Greed in warband since thats what the world evolves around it. Ego trip.
Alot of people use the name though, so I sat down with someone and the word "nydelig" came up(norwegian word), which translates into "delicious. Ehm...long story short, it ended up being the second part of my name.

Started off with hannibal cause i loved the Punic wars, Saw how many there were with the name hannibal
Google translated it into 10 or so languages and Hannibaru sounded coolest

I started as S_ since its first letter from one of my names(obviously i dont have much of imagination). Then played on IG under Bruce as fake name and for some strange reason decided stick to it, but got bored of it aswell

Lets put some screens here

At the beginning I was using "Prince17" - "Prince" becouse of this game:
latest
and "17" becouse I was born February 17.

Then I changed "n" to uppercase, becouse of this:
latest
After that I was playing for a while in SRC with nickname "Whitewolf", becouse of
Witcher_3_cover_art.jpg

And my final nickname, which I started to use is "PriNcelele", I stayed with "PriNce", becouse I was associated with that name, and added "lele", mainly becouse its sounds funny and lets say I borrow that from, cs:go player - Meikelele:

back when i was a wee lad of 13 playing utopia I needed a name and i liked Egyptian gods. Amazing story right  :iamamoron:

dat game had more salt and drama than warband could supply in 50 years

I got really big into Napoleonic and used the name Hawkeye from the book Last of the Mohicans (very original, I know). I joined a regiment, had a great time, left it and joined another, did very well. I flatter myself in thinking that I was remembered on a few servers by some of the bigger regiment players. Surprisingly, I didn't see all that many other Hawkeyes anywhere... that is until the Avengers movies started coming out. After that I couldn't use that name anymore, so I alternated between that and my current name, Stonewall Jackson, on Napoleonic, Maelwys on Warband MP and Brumby for any other game.

I have a high voice and i am deeply depressed. so in order to express to others that i am sad for who i am i named myself Squeaks so i could not get made fun of
