How/Where do I recruit Swadian Knights as part of my army?

I keep seeing references on how strong they are, but how do I get them? I did a search and didn't find anything

Recruit volunteers from Swadian villages, and train them up into Knights.

If I remember correctly:

Recruit -> Militia -> Footman -> Veteran Footman -> Man-at-Arms -> Knight

Or something like that.

Or if you want to do it quickly just go knock out a band of man-at-arms deserters, take them prisoners, and recruit them -> level them up to be knights. I don't usually recruit prisoners because they take away from my morale. I suggest just training recruits up to knights, like the guy above me said.

Thanks for the info! That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't entirely sure if plain Swadian recruits upgraded all the way to knights.

Recruits/Tribesmen of any faction could be upgraded in to any top tier troop (like the Knight). So yes Swad Recruits can be trained to become Swad Knights. You just have to pick the right troop to upgrade it into. And the 1st reply you got told you how to upgrade the recruit.
