How to transfer savegames between computers?

Hi everyone!

I've just bought M&B (been playing in the trial version for some weeks), and I have it installed both in my desktop and in my notebook. Since there is a savegame folder in the installed game, I thought that it would be possible to just copy it and replace it on the other computer in order to play with the same characters in both of them… but it is not! I’ve started playing in my desktop and when copied the savegame folder to my notebook, nothing happened. The game just can’t “see” it (there is no error message or anything alike; the game works as there is no game saved)!!! 

Is there any way to do this? Exporting and then importing the characters is no fun, since you have to start from the beginning again! 

Before anyone asks: both computers have the same version of M&B (0.808, the new one).

For some stupid reason saved games are stored in My documents instead of in the proper place you looked in.

Hmmm...I don't think Imprting save file works that way...you could export the files, but to save time edit and save the character with a large amount of money so you can buy new guys and armor.  That's what I do when testing.

Thanks!!! I wasn't aware that there are two savegame folders… When I copied then both (the one in M&B folder and the other one in My documents), it worked perfectly.

And just one more thing: I've just realized that you only need to copy the folder from My Documents; the other one seems to be useless... Hope this can help anyone who gets the same (kind of dumb ) difficulties as me!
