How to take a decent screenshot?

So I'm trying to make this image in gimp and I need a frontal screenshot of my character in a russian uniform. Problem is I have no idea how I can manipulate the camera like that. When I'm in game all I can do is watch his  back and I need the front. Is there a way to get full control of the camera -- so I can move it up and down, pan it around, zoom in and out etc. You know, the basic necessities to make the perfect screenshot. Any (easy) way to do that? Thank you!

It is, indeed, the button that is below escape and above tab. You can also change this in the options. It appears as the 'view outfit' key when editing controls. If you'd rather use a different key, change it there .

Pardon me for being a shameless recruiter but you don't happen to be looking for a regiment (it's like a clan if you haven't come across the term yet), do you? Because I think your uniform might look even better as part of many others' uniforms in our ranks in the 32nd!

Please don't recruit outside of the regimental section. It gets annoying and there is no need since there is a dedicated board for it...
