How to reduce criminal rating?

So I accidentally sold a bunch of sheep I was supposed to be herding and now the southern empire considers me a dirty crim. I can’t get into the town to deal with my workshop! Is there any way to decriminalise myself?

I remember getting +30 criminal rating with the southern empire. I found no way to view the rating and after a while I could still join them as a vassal. Maybe it goes down after time?

Same issue. I even miss moment, when i did get criminal rate. How reduce it?

I don't know where you can view your criminal rating but at 30 it doesn't seem to have any effect. I did another one of those quests and got up to 60 criminal rating and at that point i was not allowed within cities. To lose the criminal rating i just went to a town and i got the option to either turn myself in or pay it off. It was about 1000 gold.

It will only show up if you have a high enough criminal rating that you aren't allowed in towns. After that i can't remember what option it was, i think i just tried to enter the keep or something and it gave me the option.

Yeah, told a notable in the Southern Empire to bugger off when I was helping another notable with underpriced/overpriced goods and I got a criminal rating. Definitely curious if anybody found a way to remove the criminal rating.

I went to all the recent towns I'd been to in the hour prior and only one guard said "we've had our eye on you" or something to that effect like I'd been misbehaving but the guard didnt demand payment.

I had to load a save game in order to avoid unknowingly becoming a criminal. In my reloading of my saved game I did the poacher quest with no problems and didnt do the spy quest so I"m banking on it being the spy quest. Killing the wrong "innocent thug" in the Spy quest in a consensual dual in a gladiator arena is apparently a crime.
