How to recruit as a Ruler?

Started this mod as the 'King' of Knights Templar, how do I recruit volunteers? The pool is so small and I can hardly keep up the manpower in my campaign versus bandits...

The recruitment rules are explained in game in notes menu/game concepts (and in this mod's forum of course). But anyway you can only recruit armed pilgrims from the villages owned by your faction and knights from the towns owned by your faction. You can recruit mercenaries in any taverns. Also in this mod your towns get troops over time like the AI and you can give money to towns and castles to recruit more troops automatically to the garrison.
