How to make heraldic armors non heraldic? (and remove banners from shields)

Like in the thread, I'd like to replace heraldic armor banner texture with a fixed one, same for shields, how do I do that?

Use the alpha in the heraldic as an alpha mask, stretch / move the heraldry you want into place, save it, change the Material to something more appropriate and rip out the tableau code for the item.
