Mais non je suis sûr que tu dois être euh comment dire "an excellent student at english but with the subtitles" ^^
Sinon pour perfectionner son anglais ou une autre langue rien de mieux que de pratiquer ! Ce matin j'ai appris avec un pote russe comment écrire mon nom en ... chinois

Pour apprendre une langue, il faut en effet la pratiquer, tout particulièrement à l'oral !!

You're right, the better to learn a language is practice in the country concerned. But perhaps just an idea less expensive is to buy a method Assimil (very effective for me wih english) :

I think french is very difficult to learn if we're an anglo-saxon. It's more easy if we speak an latin language (spanish or italian)...

By "anglo-saxon" my friend means "english-speaking people". It's old french word meaningless nowadays but we still use it.
