How to get cattle?

Hey guys,  I've started playing this expansion a couple of days ago and I got into a bit of a problem.

As I chose to be a Norse I've started my game in Norway and began my adventure there by taking a number of quests from the lords and village leaders of the area- one of them was to deliver cattle to tuns by east.

Now,  from what I have experienced the only way to get cattle is by raiding a village, now has I can't herd cattle over the sea nor am I willing to raid a norse village (as I am a vassal of said kingdom) how is it possible for me to get cattle to tuns by east?

You know, reasonable people don´t raid villages to get cattle. They go to said village´s headman and ask if they can buy some.

if you get a boat you can go get cattle and they will follow you home
