Heya,

So at the moment I'm helping Lord Kastor of Veluca to reclaim his throne. I have convinced 8 of the Rhodoks lords to come to my side, and they are all following me around. The problem is, they don't seem to do anything except follow me. Is it possible to make them fight alongside me when I'm trying to capture cities/castles etc? And if so, please give me some tips!

Thanks.

I have never helped a claimant before, so it might be a bit different, but.

Normally you have to have some relationship with the lords in question, I believe 5+ is needed for them to join battle.

However, I've had lords with only +1 to join me in battle, and lords with +10 to not join me.

But the general idea is that they have to like you to join you in battle.

As he said, it depends on your relation but to my knowledge no one has yet found out how it is done exactly. Possibly the lord's personality (yes, that exists) is also a factor or there is a random factor involved.

Normally, when you are helping a claimant, you are temporarily (until you have actually claimed the throne) the marshall of the Rebel faction. This means the lords normally always join me in battle. Make sure they are nearby though. And if the enemy party is very large, your lords might also just run, but you can already see that on the campaign map.
