can you guys help me out , I don't know how k can earn good money cause of my daily troop wages. The wood workshop thing has been updated so that wont work.

I earned most of my money through Tourments to start with by betting. But Trade quickly became my bread and butter. The trader rumors can help, I tend to stop at villages on the way and buy things in bulk to sell, using mules to let me transport stuff around.

If you have 100% cavalry or one horse per infantry you move quite fast. (To catch loot bags or escape)

Buy cheap beer and furs in varcheg and iron in Omar (north empire city just south of varcheg) and sell wherever.

Buy workshops and caravans when you have the money and keep building your economic base before you build a proper army. I heard that caravans are good now that workshops were sort of removed from the game

I made about 60k in something like 120 days, mostly trading basic goods. I circumnavigated the world a couple times during that. To start off with, I was going backwards and forwards within regions selling village goods to towns nearby, until I built up enough money and had enough horses to start trading between regions.

I'm assuming there's no randomisation of trade goods or anything, but here's some of my suggestions:
  • Far West, Galend - Pravend: Buy grain and fish for ~10, olives and grapes for ~15. Charas is good for the grain and fish trade because it's so close.
  • Mid-North, Sargot through to Amprela: Buy Hardwood for ~10 around the , and sell in the really cold, isolated regions north of there.
  • Far East, Baltakhand - Odokh: Buy horses, especially mules. Mules in the central area on the map can fetch up to ~250, whereas you can buy them for ~50 in the far east.
  • Can't remember where I was buying butter and cheese, perhaps the far north. Buy for ~18-22.
Basically everything you buy, you're looking to sell for twice that. You're also going to need a loooot of horses, but you can start small and work your way up. The Far South is a bit too low population density to make it hugely worthwhile, but a lot of places will buy grain for 20, so if you save up about 1,000 grain, it could be a nice journey.

I tried trading in luxury goods as well, but I think the limited supply makes them not as attractive for making a lot of money. You can only either buy or sell a relatively small amount at one time, so you're not making a lot of trades worth thousands.

when I started out I just looted a bunch of looters (ironic?) and sold them and their tools into slavery. this just kept my head above water though. then I became a mercenary for a faction and whenever they called everyone to an army I would join. the good thing about that is you have 100+ extra troops by your side so when they go out and attack other lords you get a decent amount of that loot and it sells for a lot more than the looters junk! also whenever the army attacks another lord, you can capture that lord and take it to a town and sell them. I've seen them go from about 1000-3500. so if your army attacks another army with multiple lords you could potentially make 10000+ just off of selling people! after grinding that for a little bit I found myself with a decent amount of money (i think like 50-80k) and I found myself near a city that hardly had anyone in it and my party was big enough to handle it. so I left that kingdom and attacked the city and I was successful. for the first couple of days, it didn't make any money but soon not only did it cover my ~80 troops but it was also giving me about 1000 a day. i upgraded and got 2 caravans and started making about 2000-3000 a day. and then I was patient looking for other opportunities to steal some "free real estate". soon I found myself with 300,000+ and my own kingdom and I would assemble my armies and apply a bit of "cheese" (it's probably something that needs to be fixed in all honesty) I would scout the map looking for towns with minimal defense, attack a village so I'm at war with them, and then take the city/ castle. then I would find the nearest lord that I'm at war with and I would pay them 45,000-70,000 to not be at war with me so I don't have to worry about them. now I got about 1,000,000!

this is what I'm doing, I hope this helps!

Early game (less than 25 troops) it's extremely difficult. However once you get past that it's extremely easy.

Easiest way to get money at the very beginning is tournaments. Placing the max bet on yourself and selling the rewards gets you a few thousand denars.

First thing you should aim for I would say even before you become part of a faction is get the maximum amount of mills in your most trafficked cities. They are expensive upwards of 15k. But they give passive income overtime if your production is right. Now people are complaining that taleworlds removes the 10-12k profit from it which was silly to begin with saying they are worthless but people forget it's a daily change. In warband your troops and your mills were a weekly payout. Have to keep that in mind when looking at it.

And the best paying quest at this moment is the poachers quest you get from major towns. Simply because after dealing with the you can get up to 20 hides which sell for ~200 each. Now the mercenary quest you can get from nobles can pay you thousands of denars but every day you do not complete that quest it costs you 100 extra denars because they steal from you until you finish it and if you have a bad streak of luck of not finding a lord then it can be very bad for your money bag.

Beyond that fiefs make a fair amount of passive profit and by that time you should be making 500g a day or more and you'll put most of that money in your fiefs reserve to get those extra bonuses.

Now while it's easier I'd say to get a profit than it was in warband some of the items are extremely expensive in comparison. And you have to buy horses for your soldiers if you want to upgrade them.

i earned most of the money by trading. go to taverns interact with people and some of them will give you rumors of trading prices, crossrefrence that with the actual price in shop and trade what seems the best option. Buy couple of mules and never sell horses you get by looting.
