How to disable permanent wound effect?

Users who are viewing this thread

Hi,
I would like to kindly ask for link/advice how to disable system that leads to permanent stat loss. Problem is that game does not contain mechanism to separatelly manage hero's/NPC's from "random" warriors, so it's pretty much impossible  to prevent them being wounded in the battle - and for great battles between kingdom's it's annoying. For me it takes fun out of game.

EDIT: Sorry, just found info on updates page, how to turn it off... However, how much long term is it, can somebody provide more details please? (I thought it is permanent originally and was replaying lot of battles for it

About 30 days.
You can see how long it will take at Reports -> Party Moral

It's in the menu you can access via camp menu. Sorry, forgot the name. Change game settings or something.

Thank you!! Yes, camp => game settings => turn off permanent wound

I was looking in the forum for a thread explaining which file to edit. But the developers made things easier for us, great job!

OT: One thing I especially like about this mod is how the enemy (or your men) get scared by heavy losses. No more peasants going beserk and attacking alone a wall shield of experienced warriors

Yea, it is one of the better features lying around. It has some flaws, but is still a great addition to the experience.

1 flaw i found was when you have 20 cavaliers, vs around 50 recruits, the cavaliers tend to run away, it really, really, really pisses me off.

Wound effect for companions would be nice if you could chose to keep them aside from battles until they fully recover. Right now i rather turn it off when they get injured to avoid aggravating it on further battles.

Unless the recruits manage to down you or a few Cavaliers (which causes a massive morale drop) i never see that happend.

I think he means the world map.
I think he doesn't know that that's a Native thing.
I think he doesn't know that you can't do much about that.
I think that I like beginning every line and every sentence with I.
