How to disable duels in battles

Can you tell me if there is away to disable the option to duel during battles. Its bugs the hell out of me. Sorry it may a feature that some like but I hate it.

The main reason is that I cannot arrange my troops into position until the dueling options have been asked.

If I say "NO" to both duels after I position my army they just charge losing all my army setup.
