how to collect a debt

Ok I'm pissed off. 18 months ago my mothers best friend came to me asking If I could lend her 9600 Euro fwith an interest rate of 8%

I agreed and lend her the money.

at this point including the intrest she owes me about 35520,17 Euro. somehow I'm beginning to think that she won't be paying me back.

I was thinking about contacting Incasso Team Moskau because I hear they are effective (their slogan is: the one owing you doesn't need to know russian, we'll make them understand) but they ask 15% wich is a lot. a mate offered to go visit her with a baseballbat, but that seems somewhat drastic to me.

annyone got anny sugestions?

(this thread is more to relieve my anger and worries I won't blame you pavlov if you close this) tough some brainstorming over a simple solution would be welcome, I even offered her a 10 year monthly payment plan but still haven't seen a single penny

I have a lot of ways of obtaining things that people may or may not be in debt for me in. I suggest first of all talking with her, and suggesting that bad things will happen to her very very soon. If she dosen't get the hint, dose she have any pets? Do the math. Come back and visit, once again ask for your money. There are many many more things I can come up with.

the thing is, everytime I enquire about my money she comes with stories how hard her life is how she has been ripped off by people, how tired she is, what great friends her and my mom are, how hard she works etc....

but in the mean time tey have 4 cars, 2 boats and eat in restaurants allmost weekly.

I ought to invite you Pavlov, come to my house I'll feed you for a week if you can convince her to pay

You do have a problem that she is female tho, so that cuts a severe beatdown out. Altho as I said you can find many other ways to influence and intimidate people.

problem is that I'm a nice guy. I worry about manny things, llike: she's my mom's friend, this could destroy that. her husband doesn't know she owes me money, if he finds out it could seriously hurt their marriage, I used to be friends with her son. he might come harass me.

Mate unless it was a legally binding contract, you aint getting that money back. If it was a bloke id suggest roughing him up but its a bird so your pretty much screwed. 9600 euros? ****ing hell thats quite a bit of money to just lend to someone.

I'm 25 and I'll be damned if I ever work in my life

nah kidding. I don't work, I had money fromt he insurance company after my car accident wich rendered me unfit to work.

I lend money to people at an interest rate to make a little bit of extra money. she's the only one that didn't pay yet.

if it aint on paper mate youve got **** chance of getting that money back, if you really want it take your chance and go into 'gangster mode' and take YOUR money by any means. if shes got 4 crs and 2 boats she is not living rough. sum1 with 4 cars and 2 boats where i live would be classed as royalty(then robbed)

yeah they on holliday now for 2 weeks. I'm working out a payment plan where se payse me monthly. and I'll present it to her. if she doesn't accept, I'll tell her i'll ask her husband for the money. (that could dammage their marriage tough)

@weltonia: I had broken everything besides my left arm. but I'm recovering well.
