How to add items (brf files and through code) from one mod, to another

Hi, I am new here, I am lurking around this forum for some time now, but since I wanted to make a little mod for meself I had to post here.
My home forum is the piratesahoy! forum. We had a flame war about this forum because Stallion wasn't really glad about it. I deleted his posts (I am a moderator over there, so I DO know how to behave). But well enough about it.

I also mod for the game Pirates of the Caribbean (2003), I make textures for it. But now I want to make a little mod of myself. I play the Eagle and the Radiant Cross now, but I want to add some items (clothing, weapons and hats) from the Pirates! mod to Eagle and the Radiant Cross, because I want to make it more 17th century-ish (I know that isn't a word :roll:).

How can I add the brf items of the pirates! resource file to the eagle and the radiant cross.brf?

Could you guys help a newb out here?
 
Thanks mate! But isn't there a module pack for Eagle and the Radiant Cross?
 
Yeah my bad, source is probably included with the mod. So you just need to modify the module.ini and add a few lines to the the module_items and you're all set.
 
Editing the brf file worked, but what was white of the pirate mod, has now got a greenish glow, and if I start the game I get an error that the texture for ?object was not found and then it goes back to windows. And yes I have search for new textures set to 1.
 
Have you copied the texture files for the item to the new modified mod folder? You probably have but gotta ask just to be on the safe side.
 
Every texture of the pirate mod is now in my new folder so yes. Or does it has to be in the texture folder of mount and blade itself? The error is: RLG error, _object did not find texture
