Playing M&B for hours on end and talking with awesome people on the forum: Priceless.

There are 2 games that have totally been worth the money I paid for it, its CounterStrike, and Mount & Blade.

to the original question, I got my copy for £4.50 (in the UK) that's about $8 USD hope this helps

On a related topic, I recently saw M&B actually in a shop for the first time in the UK. I got the game myself 2 years ago, and I also bought a boxed version from Amazon a few months back. I'd never been able to find it in UK computer shops until now though, but I saw it in GAME in Leeds (about £15 I think). Could be that M&B's still selling reasonably well and high street retailers think it's worth stocking a few copies.

grrr, my freind found M&B for £5 (thats dirt cheap for anyone not using the pound- DIRT CHEAP) in a bargain basket, amongst loads of ****ty playstation 1 and ancient stone-age-windows games.
I dont know whether to be jelous of his luck, or angry at the person who put it there!
EDIT: noticed post above-  I hate you for your luck. I payed full price for M&B
