how much do you cheat

正在查看此主题的用户

I don't know if you would consider this a cheat, but as I get higher in level and the xp gets way out there to advance to next level, I change the XP multiplier to give me more XP per kill.  This helps offset that Half a Million XP to get to the next level.

It's still a lot of (legit) work unlike export-edit-import. It would be similar to playing on easy mode or hardest mode.

messing with the xp multiplier isn't cheating...Stuff like porting around the map is cheating (which I do along with other things like becoming a uber soldier )

It is terrifying to see 70+ sea raiders running around!!

And in the Litus mod I play with, they all assist each other - I've fought 500 sea raiders vs me and my 9 companions. Thank god we were all mounted with lances. I don't know what I would have done if they were Desert or Steppe bandits. Lose, I suppose.

Haha, how did you beat 500 sea raiders with 10? That's like 50:1 ratio. How long did it take to get thru that?

Couched lance + chargers/champion chargers.

Everyone, follow me! Everyone, charge! Everyone, follow me! (repeat)

About 2 hours.

Dropped two masterwork items though!

the size of the kingdom is the only thing that factors into the result. This I find absurd.

That should not be the case. The lord's relationship with the fief's recipient should be the most important factor.

This is why asking everyone (usually at a feast) who they think should get it is helpful for maintaining civility in your realm.

1.lower tax inefficiency to 10%

2.make cattle follow me rather an run from me

3.reduce relationship hit related to the assignment

4.teleport when recruiting some recruits or tribesmen to make up a garrison "number"

1) Health cheat. Half of the time the battle will start, I'll ride behind my troops as I put them into position, and then an arrow will come out of ****ing NOWHERE and hit me in the face, taking me down dangerously low. Never hits my troops, even if I'm dismounted and behind them. And it's always the first shot fired.

2) Money cheat. I won't lie, I like being able to pay my troops every week.

3) Ctrl F4. I sorely miss the Shift + Ctrl F4 that took out tons of troops at once. My wrists hurt from all that F4ing the enemy down to acceptable levels in sieges.

4) I've edited my character files to make them all level 61, 33 all stats, 10 all attributes, and 300 weapon skill across the board. So that the aforementioned arrow to the face won't take me down and I'll be able to visit my terrible vengeance upon the archer who fired it.

Mmm...

1) Gained about 2 or 3 skill points in two skills by reading the same book (the thing when you export your character that doesn't remember if some of the skills were gained by books, so when you import him you can re read them).

2) Battlesizer is cheating?

And thats it i think...

How can I do that? Tweak cattle so that they follow me instead of run away, I mean.

I really only use the cheat menu to buy stuff in towns that I can't find in the shops. Plus I tweaked the game so that I can view my mens equipment and weapons, though I haven't changed any of it.

Thanks alot,

3) ctrl+alt+f4 is the new "kill 99% of your enemies" cheat Make sure you press ctrl or you'll screw it all

I modified charge damage to 2.5 so chargers really can kill people, but weaker horses just give you bruises.

I hated it to see how a Nord Huscarl just took no damage from being TRAMPLED and SQUISHED and RAMMED by a full speed charger.
This makes cavalry charges much more effective.

The glorious Kingdom of Swadia will reward you for your innovations!

OT: I only get some extra throwing axes from my baggage (automatically reloads all the stuff).
Yes, I'm a Swadian with throwing axes! (And a big 2hander  )

Using TweakMB is the easiest way.

I've go a few minor tweaks -- like cattle following and higher tournament bet amounts (500 denars top).  I've also changed the rep you get from buying presents for lords from 1, 2 or 3 points to 10, 20 or 30; but I've also increased the amount presents cost to 10, 20 or 30k. So I can quickly get a lord from grumbling to favourable but it's a really expensive way of making friends!

mmmm only time ive cheated was when my fief was getting looted by king haruluas (cant spell his name) himself, so i decided i cant take him on and if he raids this fief i miss out on 1.5k profit. Really a no brainer, take out the king of feats and save 1.5k.

I've gone all over the place with it. Sometimes I play with no modifications, just to get a feel for how the devs intended the game to be.

Often enough, I quickly up the tournament betting amounts. What kind of cheap-ass king or lord hosts a tournament and gives out a lousy 200d for a prize? That's not even enough to buy a decent sword, never mind armour!  I up the tournament betting to 2.5x the standard level (if I'm remembering correctly), so that a win in a new town earns you enough to buy a good horse or good armour.

In the past, I've made use of the Health cheat.  Old M&B used to do a weird camera trick during sieges: when enemy reinforcements would arrive, the game would stall and freeze on that single image of battle for several seconds... and then when everything started moving again, I'd suddenly be facing the opposite direction. You all can imagine how that turns out in a siege, I'm sure. It lead to much rage until I finally activated the cheats... at which point it still resulted in rage, but it was ameliorated by being able to compensate for the game's wackiness.

With my next character I plan on making use of the import/export cheat to make the character more 'legendary' in terms of his attribute scores, but leave his skills alone. I'm also going to slow his progress by consistently rolling back his Experience tally so that he's never more than a couple levels above his companions. So he'll be disproportionately strong (literally -- going to boost his Strength score by a few points) for his level, but his levelling will be extremely slow compared to normal characters.

Ok, thanks, but isn't there a way to do that by just changing the text files? I did it once before ages ago, but I forgot how to do it.

Why would you want to do that? Tweakmb is so easy and changes the txt for you.

Only 'cheat' i use is catle follow me. I once raised the beting amount on tournaments, but thats just to easy money.

Because I don't want to download yet another program that I'm only going to use once, for something that I've already done without it. I don't have that much memory to begin with.

ok I recently just discoverd a "new" cheat and wonder if anyone else had seen it. I just started playing prophecy of pendor. And once I was on the character screen doing something, I think it was changing my title or something. Anyway I hit shift j I think and all of a sudden my character just jumped up by 3 or 4 levels. So I'm thinking WTF when did it start doing that!

Edit: It's actually shift L that does it.

TweakMB is a tiny utility - only about 5MB. No need to install it; you can unpack it, use it from the desktop and throw it away. But if you want to do it the hard way...

Find this line in menus.txt and change the blue 11 to 10.

I made the cattle follow me

I raised the tournament bets to 150

I made the arena rewards higher

I made the town relation boosts for tournament wins higher
