How many Rhodok sergeants and sharpshooters should I garisson in my castles?

I recently received a lot of castles from our lord and saviour King Graveth, but I have no town and with all the garrissons im getting my wages are getting a bit high. I have over a thousand Rhodok sergeants and sharpshooters in total (more sharpshooters than sergeants) so, even if it will hurt, I might have to disband some Rhodok units in order to keep the money flowing. Therefore, my question is how many Rhodok Sergeants and Sharpshooters I should house in my castles in order for them to be safely protected enough against non-Rhodoks? (and how much more at the borders of the kingdom of Rhodoks next to enemies) And just Rhodok troops as my goal is to conquer calradia only using Rhodok soldiers. (i know im obsessed with Rhodoks)

How many castles do you have, exactly? 200 is probably plenty for a garrison. When I owned Uxkhal, I had like +400, but that was also the only place I was garrisoning.

One thing to keep in mind, if the troops are never going to be used except to defend the castle, don't spend too much on the melee guys. Their primary job is just to be meatshields while the sharpshooters kill the guys on the ramp. I used exclusively Swadian Sharpshooters and Footmen for garrison duty.
