How many days have you been playing?

1st january finished rhoduks civil war, beaten swadia and are advancing on the nords, (i cant do anything with kastor now it just says will you take up my cause (needs to be fixed in warband))

When I first bought M&B(back in .751) I played a female character for a really really long time. Back then you could only capture two castles in southern Calradia, they belonged to bandits. Besides those two castles you could only have land battles and do quests. It was still fun though. Back then I wasn't really into the RP so my character was a horse archer in black armour. Yeh, typical. So anyways my character was virtually invincible, I played that long. And I didn't know anything about cheats back then either.

my longest game that I can recall was about 760 ish days... pretty sure I still have the save game file somewhere but the game is 'completed' (i.e my chosen faction holds all the land, nothing else to do...)

I'm near day 1000 in Native, but haven't played it for a while.  I have a renown nearing 20,000, own all the Rhodok and Swadian cities, along with the Nord cities except Wercheg.  I also have a couple fiefs and a castle, minor stuff but I'm constantly being offered new territory, the lack of war with the Nords or Khergits for over 500 days has really slowed things down though.  I planned to get all the major cities properly through just renown, and then maybe look at rebeling.

That's quite suspicious Ruth.
I guess mine is closer to 1000 days or so.
Oh well, it's worth it to impress the newbies.

But yeah, it's modded. it would take like, a full month of holding down Ctrl+Spacebar to get that far.

holding down Ctrl+Spacebar

Do you wait faster with this then with just spacebar?

Mine is just shy of 750 days I think.. First real char (had like 30 on free trail), played Vaegir and took it all, apart from the Nords.. And Nords and Vaegir seem to live nice in peace.. I don't want to take them down just to win.. But I guess I could..

My first game, it was the 499th day when i saved & exited just a few minutes ago. Still learning new stuff every once in a while though...

200 odd days on Native, then M&B updated and I didn't know how to export my character etc, so I created a new one, and accidently overwrote my 200 day character. I shortly after found out how to get it into the newer version...

Anyway, ever since that I've been trying out loads of new mods, never really getting much done and just restarting all the time.

I started .951ish, and never found out about 'export character' until 1.000.  So I started a new game with every new release, and came close to world domination 3 times, and got it on the fourth.  One game I conquered everyone but the khergits for KIng Yarogleck, then I backed Valdym and conquered all the Vaegir lands, then I rebelled and retook all the lands from Valdym.  Oddly enough, Sanjar never declared war on me the whole time.  By then I was so sick of racing around and fighting non stop, I went and became his vassal, deciding to dedicate my time to ridding the land of bandits and looters- which got boring real quick.  I have no idea how long that was, but it must have been years and years.

I've never kept my saves. Besides that, I like starting again.
If I would have kept a savegame since 2006 (the year I came to these forums, played even before that I think) I would have an awesome long playday

My .808 TLD game is on game day 875...and I still don't have a Mithril Hauberk with tabard on Celeborn (The last of the heroes in my party).

It's kind of sad, I wasted so many of my resources on hiring elf troops before decking out my heroes, who are all around level 40 now.

Anyway, I better get back to playing.  Rohan won't crush Isengard on its own.

At the moment, i'm in the middle of doing the reclaim throne quest for nord rebels. The nords now own 3/4 of the map, so this is a pretty involved task. Every major town or castle I conquer, i take as my own, leaving lethwin with nothing. As soon as the nords are conquered, i'll capture a khergit or rhodok (vargirs and swadians are gone) town, ask for it, get denied and renounce my oath to lethwin. Since all castles and towns belonged to me, they will have zero garrisons and I will be able to take them all back easily.
And... ?

You still can't be the Pendragon, King of Kings, right?

Personally, i'll be satisfied with conquering the whole world. Let's face it, M&B isn't about politics or empire building per se. I get the 'it's nice for the ego' but...
