how make cavalery use spear ?

Despite having a long spear ont he back, my cavalery never use it ?

Seriously, there is sooo much confusion regarding charge/advance

In charge they use spear in the initial charge and switch to swords with advance they charge with spear go out charge againg with spear and repeat that you should watch italianspartacus video if you want to know more but basically with charge they use their first slot weapon while in advance their highest skill weapon but for some units its one or the other is benificial and also depending on the playstyle

Has he made a new video about it since 1.5? They may in fact still try to use their pears on advance, but their performance is so poor on advance now that we can't tell lol.

No but he has talked about it on his streams but iy still works good with vanguards and lancers the advance command

Pears are just slightly weaker than stones.

It doesn't work with headsman's troops that for sure.

They use their spears for me. It could be based on their speed. If they are in a tight space and not moving very fast,they will use their sidearm. Once they start going they will switch. Just something I have noticed.

Why on earth is "charge" not the charge, reset and charge again?
Why is advance this?

For me charge is "run like crazy into the opponent and attack him"
And advance is "move towards enemy"
