How long will my activation key take?

Hey guys, just registered. Played the trail of the game and loved it - I really want the actual game, so I bought it with my dad's paypal (I'm only 16, don't have my own yet), and I was wondering how and when will I get the registration key? Thanks.

In answer to you question, you should receive it in a matter of a few minutes. Its sent by e-mail, and usually is received in about 5 minutes. It can take longer though.

That's not right -- I recieved my email instantly. Check your spam folders, make sure you're not checking the wrong email (Since it is your dads paypal, it might be in his email?)

But maybe they have their paypal set up so they have to approve each order, who knows. Still sounds to me like something isn't right.

Did it show your activation code right after you payed? Maybe you missed it or something. I dont know what could be wrong. Try Pming the mighty Archonsod.

No, the activation code can take up to a week if bought via paypal.... the time varies.

Yeh It took a couple of days for mine to come. But I just used a credit card to buy it.

I bought it and forgot, only realised it had arrived when I checked my email a week later. Thats was with version .6 something or other when the game was first featured in PCgamer.

So Paypal is not very good for paying for the game or what, is there a better alternative?

You can pay via credit card which is pretty much instantaneous.

Or Paypal via Gamer's Gate, which is also immediate.

Credit card, the way I payed, is also a few bucks cheaper I think, not to mention most importantly instant.
