How long does it take to get kids?

Hey Guys I've got a short question, how long did it take for you to get childs when you took your spouse with you (i dont know if that is already in game) cause i have been doing that for 280 days and still got no child. Or is there a maximum age for that (the wife is 57 after the 280 days) would appreciate your help? Thanks in advance

well... can just tell you that i was waiting with him (my char is a girl) for about 100 days... (well i was moving (or at least when i stopped waiting i was at another place) but that is another thing/bug).

Then she is too old. I thought they removed the limitation but women still stop having children around 39-45 or thereabouts.

I still can't believe how people aren't talking about the girls skills when born going from 0 to 100-140 is a lot of categories.
But to the OP there are sometimes in a town when I wait and she is pregnant within days and sometimes I sit there for a week or longer and nothing, just think it's RNG

i heard a surefire way to get pregnant is to have your spouse as the governor of a place, have booze in your inventory and spend the night there

btw tried it now myself in the beta branch (because there is the dev console available) made my char younger and when my char was at a settlement (with the spouse)(not on the way) my char got pregnant
