Nope, .901

In that one you can seige the big cities, like Sargoth and Ryvaden and what not.

since noone would give you an answer, i think you need version 901 to do that

Don't bother trying to starve the city. It will take forever, and even when you get them down to starving, nothing happens! Yep, they apparently can go without food indefinitely with no ill effects. This is very disappointing, hopefully something that will be fixed next version. Otherwise it is pretty much impossible to take a city without using ctrl-F4, since they always have a massive numbers advantage and you spawn righ outside the walls, you don't have a chance to pick off defenders slowly like you do with castles. Well, that's not true, you can pick them off slowly, but when they ''ve 250-300 defenders, and each time if your good you might get 10 of them, it would take a ridiculous number of attempts. After each failed attempt or retreat you lose a hefty amount of morale, so you men will probably desert before you get anywhere.

That's why you have 30,000 denars and spend it all on Hired Blades. It takes around 100 to storm a city.

Well none of my guys ever get past the end of the ladder, due to the fact that they don't realize they need to jump to get onto the ramparts!

I guess you put all your skill points into leadership (and, therefore, charisma) to get an army size that high, huh? Not a bad idea, I guess. I concentrated more on my own combat skills, plus surgery to keep my men alive. I guess if I had more of them, losing a few wouldn't matter so much, and I wouldn't have to do much fighting myself. But where's the fun in that?

Hmm, maybe it is time to start a new "Napolean" PC

Can anyone else confirm my finding that starving does nothing to the defenders? I waited about 10 days, maybe 14, which IRL would be enough to really hurt 'em, but maybe you need to wait longer in the game.

Hi,
I have joined Swadia for any reason, they are not participating in the war, now I can´t besiege anyone. What can I do?
