How does being Marshall affect me

i am currently king, and Marshall, of my own faction

I've read some places that being Marshall brings lots of bugs and that i should rather appoint a lord as Marshall.

As king, can I still control all the lords like a marshall without actually being it?

Yep. No feasts while on campaign.

Actually if player is Marshal there will be no other Lords feasts in Kingdom (game design according to devs in Bugtracker). But as long as player is not marshal other lords will throw feasts when not in campaign.

the bug about the marshal is mostly when you have a kingdom of your own, so when u are a vassal np. Just dont give anyone the order you are free to do what u want because that bring a load of spam debugging messages every 10 secs lol

ok, did tell one of my lords to do what he wanted, and yes it gets wierd
