How do you add new parties etc.

Hi, this is my first post                                                                     

1. Ok, I have viewed all the stickies and not found anything I have yet understood.  I have added about 7 new troops to a mod but i was wondering how to give them a spawn point on the map.  I have seen soom deserter parties and stuff with them but i wanted to know how to add the spawn point.

2. Also I'd like to know how to make them into a faction, (and eventually maybe I'll make them a kingdom).
