Heh.  Got a good chuckle out of that one! :D  But actually, I think the good winrehs007 would have been free from The Wrath.  This wasn't another...

"OMG, like, how i get teh vassal?  i no u anser this b4 but im lazy!  & wut r qualis gemz 2 ????"

... post.  It is actually a good question from someone new to M&B

And hell, sometimes I wanna kill the ungrateful bastards too. :D  But EvilSam is right.  Unlike the signature spawns, the npc lords are as immortal as the player.

Yup, they are annoying...
Just do what I do and capture and hold the enemy kings. You may wish you could kill them still but at least it's funny laughing at them all starving away somewhere. That way you also avoid them being able to field the toughest armies from the factions too, hits your honour a bit but you make up for it by beating and releasing all the whiney lords trying to rescue their bosses.

I do the same - remember that there's no point building good relation to any faction leader other than your own (and none at all if you are independent.)  They'll never join up, so imprison them forever if you can.

..OR you can ransom them away for a handsome 13 to 18K golds :)

Yeah,Kadan Bahadur Khan got captured each of the two sieges he laid upon me,that idiot won't learn, and he sells for a 17k gold whenever you're in need of cash.
I stopped selling lords,so I got uhh, like four in laria, five in walven castle and a couple in almerra castle including king ulric and his lapdogs.
So I just go into the town dungeon, see like six lords lined up in the dungeon like lambs awaiting slaughter

Yeah, I might have to do that... I now have the problem of too many vassals - I keep getting ones from defeated factions in addition to the ones I capture and persueded to join me, bringing their little lands with them. It's annoying cause they all seem to join me then just sit at home twiddling their thumbs - perhaps a partial lobotomy is the rite-of-passage to join my Kingdom.

It somehow fits in this thread and I did a quick result-less search to check whether the following is a known bug. I fought two times (different savegames) against Maltise in PoP V2.0 and killed (!) her both times (as I couldn't find a report on this, the bug might therefore be still in version 2.02). I though that she might be someone who could not be knocked unconscious (like the Serpent Priestesses and Anaconda Knights, who can only be killed, even by blunt weapons), but as some people took her prisoner, I wonder why I always killed her.

That definitely shouldn't have happened.  I don't suppose you managed a screenshot of the casualty list?
