How do i rename companions?

is there a mod to rename companions? or an easy way to do it? cause i want to give ranks in my army like "General Rolf" and "Captain Nizar" i tried to do this in the chacacter info but it didn't work.

I think if you have edit mode enabled, you can do it. If not, then Morgh's Troop Editor is great for that.
