Words cannot describe how much I love this game...but I do have one serious issue. While leading an army of multiple Lords' parties, I seem to have no luck whatsoever in keeping them with ME rather than running off after every enemy that comes into range, no matter how insignificant. Is there ANY solution to this problem?? I have progressed to a state in the game where I REALLY many of my lords helping me in order to finish off the Nords and I'm getting very frustrated. I'm afraid I'll have to quit the game if my army abondons me right before the siege tower is finished too many more times...

There is no real solution to this. The best thing to do is to sweep the target area of enemies first before settling into a siege, that way you have less things to distract them.

Damn...that's the answer I was afraid of.  That would make sense and be livable...except for the fact that a single farmer trying to get to market can cause all hell to break loose.  Well hopefully a patch or some modder will give us a solution.

Could you get one of your lords, that is not involved in the siege, to patrol around the area. That way possibly chasing off any anoyances, or intercepting others.

I don't know if this works or is possible, but a suggestion.

you cant order to patrol around hostile settlements. but you can order them to "raid around the village of X" and choose the closest village to the castle/city you lay siege. it might work; he will be stationary but will chase hostile parties if they get close enough.

am thinking the best way to solve this, well in siege's anyway, get a really high engineering skill, the less time it takes for you to build ladders or a siege ramp, the less time the lords have to run after enemy's, and when your on the map, get a high spotting skill and just try and avoid them, this is very annoying, there's one castle, cant remember the name, it's right in the middle of a forest where there are many many bandits, i've seen my lord's chasing down a party of lets say 15, with there 120 party, leaving me to take on the castle on my self, which currently it would be pure luck if i won

Yeah, that could work. If I need backup, I just bring extra and anticipate a few are going to run around, usually.

Even with Engineering of 10, a siege tower takes 30hrs and ladders take 2hrs.
