It's currently at -3.
And the stats impacting this number are:
Base: +10.4
Castallan's Office: +1.28

Which make no sense.
Because my production is -3, I can't build anything.

Bumped because this is slowly destroying my castle. Now my food is negative and loyalty are negative because I can't build anything that improves it.

Yes I'm having a hard time figuring out how to bump some castle stats. Luckily I still have production so I can build stuff tu bump production. But for Food I have no idea how to raise it, except reducing my garrison, and I found one policy to give a little bonus to food. So people in my castle are starving.

I managed to get my castle to stop losing loyalty by building something to boost it, but the food is still negative despite all the upgrades and it's constantly causing prosperity to fall. Seems like not all the formulas for calculation stats are optimized yet.

Agreed, can't figure out how to increase daily production to do anything.
Okay so I have production again, I had stopped a level 3 Castallan's Office midway and apparently that was tying up my production. I restarted it and let it complete and I was good again. Hope this helps others.

Guys i have a question when you build something in castle does it appire on the map? Becouse i swear i read about it in dev blog being a feature

Put some cash in the Castle Coffers. 500 dinar per day gets you a 50 per day production boost. As a temporary measure it works, but for an early game hint. Don't take over castles that dont share your race/culture, its a minus 2 loyalty right off the bat that will keep your loyalty and production at 0 for a long time. Basically leaving your castle ripe for retake by their original owner, somewhat like real life funnily enough. Unless the original owner had low loyalty.
