how do I find the nobles ?

Oke so I'm trying to "investigate 'Neretzes's Folly"; and i need to talk to 20! nobles for them; I have been playing for a few hours now, and managed to find 2 ... I barely see nobles, (I also can't seem to pinpoint them due to many passing parties all looking the same...) In Warband I could basically ask anyone in the kingdom where is person A and he would atleast give me last known location; Considering I need to run all across the map for this 1 noble how do you find these ? (and who do you talk to find them)

I spoke with Ira and she suggested to talk with Lucon. Funny thing Is that noble count is still zero....being emperor's daughter isn't enough noble.

Maybe 'go to keep' in towns? I haven't tried looking for nobles yet but that is where they used to be in warband.

You need to talk to certain nobles, just ask around and they will give you names. It are mostly kings etc.

Yes, there you can find people who seem to help you, altough it costs allot of $ to get into the keeps; or I don't know the value yet.

The thing is, in the early game the Keep is locked; gotta pay a pretty hefty guard bribe just to get in...and that's before you know if any nobles are actually in there or not. I assume it's linked to Renown...I've noticed the bribe price has slowly dropped over time. Or maybe it unlocks when player's clan reaches Tier 2?

Worth mentioning; not even all nobles are relevant. Many of them will just say "I wasn't there; try asking X". It's limited to those nobles who were present at a certain recent historical event (trying to spoiler-avoid, lol).

My impression is that this isn't really meant as a "go bang this out right now" sort of thing. But rather is a background longer-term quest. That's the way I'm treating it anyway.

More generally, it does feel like nobles are spread much thinner than in Warband. That said, it occurs to me that's not really the case. Instead, it's more that the non-noble classes - merchants, artisans, criminals, etc - are so much more fully fleshed out...not just the token "1 guild master or village elder" any more.

Yes, well that part is just not described at all, so I have no idea what I should do with the clan ... I still am missing my small sister&brother, and my older brother kinda left me also ? I'm a warband player, but I still feel kinda lost; should I can't start making enemy's otherwise my quest might become impossible ....

Hmm, that's a good point I hadn't thought of. Yeah, I guess this quest probably needs to get wrapped up before one becomes a mercenary or vassal, since that's when the player starts directly interacting with factional warfare.

this quest is basically a world tour. You need to talk with nobles from all over. Other nobles will tell you who to go after (go see my king, he was there, he is called XXX - open library link)

Use the library (N) to track the location of the ones you are hunting.

Edit: so I was on my last stop when the noble was taken prisoner. Visited him in the dungeon and he doesnt want to talk to me. Gah. Now to wait until someone breaks him out/pay ransom lol.

So there isn't a way to break someone out of a dungeon yet I assume as I am also waiting on someone captured.

okay since the update from yesterday I can't find the lords anymore the game says hes in Omor, I check keep, dungeon even the bar nothing ...

Painful quest I guess we will have to exercise a bit more patient until they have time to streamline the game
