How do I find a companion once I give him troops to go raiding?

I am having trouble finding my companions once I ask them to go raiding on their own.  I even tried asking them to stay in a castle, but they wonder off soon enough and I can't find them!  Any ideas anyone please?

Go to the Factions/Persons/Quests overview. You either look for your Vassals in your own character overview or if you already created your own Kingdom it lists your Vassals there aswell. Click the one you are looking for and at the bottom it displays the current position. The position of your Vassals is always current as instead of other persons where it is only current when you just spotted or asked for them.

Maybe you could add an overview of Companions/Vassals with Stats, Equipment, Position, Owned Fiefs/Castels/Towns and so on in the next patch? Cause sometimes I really have troubles with giving land to Lords because I don't know which are already given away.
